Release of a digital version of the JRCS’s record document on Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami

The digital version of “Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami – Complete Record Document Covering from Relief Activities to Recovery Support –“ has been released on the Red Cross Nuclear Disaster Resource Center Digital Archives. The record was issued by the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS). It includes the JRCS activities and data regarding the disaster (note: as of March 31, 2013 for financial data) from the earthquake day through December 31, 2012. The record is available for downloading from the links below.
In the affected areas, efforts for revitalization are being made. However, many affected people are still forced to live under evacuation conditions four years after the earthquake. The JRCS will continue to provide assistance for the revitalization in cooperation with local governments in the areas.
